Member of the Société Nationale des Antiquaires, the Gallery Ary Jan specializes in late 19th/early 20th Century European paintings, and offers a wide range of Belle Époque and Genre paintings, Paris and Venice cityscapes.

We are especially attentive to the state of conservation of the works we offer and all our paintings are carefully chosen with regard to subject matter, condition and artistic quality. The gallery also offers a selection of rare Orientalist Paintings.

An expert for Felix Ziem, Mathias ARY JAN has founded the Felix Ziem Association, together with David Pluskwa, in 2009. Within this Association, both are qualified to give expertise and to issue certificate of authenticity for private collectors and/or for professionals of the art market. Meanwhile, they are cataloguing the works of Félix Ziem, in order to include them in the forthcoming edition of the Catalogue Raisonné de l'Oeuvre de Félix Ziem, on which they are currently working.
