Description of the artwork
This gouache by Jacques Majorelle is a remarkable work by the painter. It is the original gouache that was reproduced as a lithograph in the book Les Kasbahs de l'Atlas, published in 1930 and featuring some twenty works created during the painter's stay in the Atlas region in 1928.
