An exceptional exhibition of almost 130 original gouaches by the artist: costumes, theatre sets, ball gowns, Parisian fashion, mythological characters, literary emblems and designs for Zizi Jeanmaire.
Romain de Tirtoff (1892 - 1990) used his initials, pronounced in the French style, to create the Erté patronymic, forever linked to fashion, music-hall shows and the Art Deco spirit, a movement of which he is now recognised as the leader.
