Exhibition: Goudji's nativity scene, designed by the artist as a contemporary and deeply spiritual reinterpretation of the Nativity.

In 2019, GOUDJI took on a new challenge by creating a nativity scene for the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud. Inspired by Jesuit tradition, he imagines six emblematic figures, approximately 40 cm high, in which he revisits the codes of Christian iconography with his unique artistic language. Each sculpture, crafted with extreme precision, reveals his unique artistry in combining gold, silver and hard stones in compositions of great harmony.

Now on display at Sainte-Marie-de-Fourvière, this nativity scene offers visitors a moment of contemplation and wonder, inviting them to rediscover the Nativity through the sensitivity and excellence of the great master of contemporary goldsmithing.
