Description of the artwork
The three Wild Geese have the same attitudes as the Sarlat Geese commissioned to François-Xavier Lalanne for the Place du Marché aux Oies in Sarlat, Périgord. They are treated with Lalanne's characteristic stylized forms. At the time of the exhibition "Les Lalanne à Trianon", two wild geese could be seen in the Queen's Hamlet.
